Maintenance manager responsibilities & duties :

• Prioritize the maintenance work in line with production requirements.
• Proactively highlight issues related to any equipment.
• Schedule, train, supervise and motivate employees of maintenance department.
• Co-ordinate work to be performed internally and by external vendors.
• Ensure efficient repair schedules and review repair cost estimates.
• Execute the PM plan in a true manner to avoid major failures.
• Control and monitor inventory of the department.
• Implement safety policies and procedures for the department.
• Provide the technical feedback on equipment’s to ensure the points are incorporated during new machines ordering.
• Monitoring of energy data and action to be taken on energy savings.

Qualification and skills :

• Bachelor degree in Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in maintenance management role.
• Strong knowledge of engineering concepts including electrical, hydraulics and mechanics.
• Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of 5’s, Kaizen
