Key Responsibilities

Prepare and manage complete documentation for import & export shipments (invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, bills of lading, certificates of origin, insurance, etc.).

Ensure compliance with customs regulations, DGFT, EXIM policy, and other statutory requirements.

Coordinate with CHA (Custom House Agents), freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, and warehouses to ensure smooth cargo movement.

Track shipments, monitor transit schedules, and ensure timely delivery of goods.

Negotiate freight rates, optimize transportation costs, and maintain vendor relations.

Handle pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation, including LC (Letter of Credit) compliance and bank documentation for export proceeds realization.

Maintain and update MIS reports for import/export activities, shipping status, and logistics expenses.

Support in managing bonded warehouse operations and ensuring adherence to compliance requirements.

Liaise with internal teams (Sales, Accounts, Production, etc.) to ensure smooth execution of orders.

Ensure adherence to company policies, international trade laws, and customer requirements.
Qualifications & Skills

Graduate / Postgraduate (preferably in International Business / Supply Chain / Commerce).

4–8 years of relevant experience in import-export documentation & logistics.

Strong knowledge of customs clearance, DGFT policies, INCO terms, LC handling, and shipping procedures.

Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP / Tally / Oracle preferred).

Good communication and coordination skills.

Attention to detail and ability to handle pressure with deadlines.
